I founded Chapter House Capital LLC (“CHC”) in 2019 with the purpose of acquiring and managing a single small business. I’m interested in purchasing a growing, profitable business for $3-10M total enterprise value in the greater Denver Metro Region.
My goal is to carry on the seller’s legacy with a long term perspective:
CHC is not a private equity firm or strategic buyer. I will bring permanent capital committed to the long-term growth of the acquired business and do not intend to create value through cost cutting.
I grew up in the suburbs of St. Paul, Minnesota to a family of small business owners and operators, and I know first-hand the passion and dedication that small business owners put into building their legacies and investing in their communities.
I joined the US Army after 9/11 to serve my country and have continued to serve my community wherever I can.
I intend to bring these experiences to manage the business for the long-term benefit of employees, customers, and communities — ensuring an enduring legacy for the founder.
Investment Criteria:
Revenues of $3-20M, with a high ratio of recurring revenue
Cash operating profit of approximately $750k - 3M, with margins of at least 15%
A profitable B2B services business with prospects for long-term growth
The type of seller who would be interested in selling to CHC would be stepping back from the business due to life changes and would be looking to sell to a fellow entrepreneur who will preserve their legacy.
About Me:
I found Chapter House Capital to fulfill my lifelong dream of owning and leading a small American company. Growing up the son of a small business owner, I desired to be an entrepreneur starting at a young age.
I have 10+ years of experience driving revenue growth and cost savings through strategic planning, process improvements, and supply chain management. I oversaw and built supply chain, product and program management for Scoot Networks and Leap Motion; managed camera operations for Apple products accounting for $100M+ in savings, and led missions in Afghanistan as a Field Artillery Officer with the U.S. Army.
I'm originally from St. Paul, Minnesota and have lived across the US; most recently in San Francisco for the last five years where I live with my fiancée Emily. I grew up a ski racer, and relished every family trip to the Rockies.
